About the event

Join us in welcoming Dr. Houman Harouni on Tuesday, December 5th at the French Library.

All are welcome regardless of gender.

Creating an inclusive culture at work where employees at all levels of the organization feel valued is a noble goal. Yet, it is no secret that most approaches to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) not only fall short of the purpose, but often engender problems that work directly against the goals of creating greater inclusion and humane, welcoming environments.

What would it take to have an approach to DEI based on actual problem-solving, and on the inherent value of each and every individual?

What do we need in order to overcome real and complex challenges, instead of holding on to high-handed moral positions?

In this interactive exchange, Dr. Houman Harouni, Lecturer at Harvard and the creator of the Equity and Inclusion Fellowship, will draw on psychology, organizational science, philosophy and real-world examples to show an alternative path to upholding human dignity. This path is based on acknowledging and working with complexity within individuals and systems.

Drinks will be served at 7pm. The conversation will start at 7.30pm and a networking cocktail will follow.

15$ participation for food and drinks collected at the event.
